Marija Gradec is a settlement in the Laško municipality in eastern Slovenia. It lies on the left bank of the river Savinja, just south of the town of Laško. The area was traditionally part of the Lower Styria region. It is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Savinja statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and belongs to the Laško parish. It dates to the early 16th century. There are four 18th-century chapels in front of the church.[3]
